Grants
The Prescription Opioid Settlement Distribution Commission (POSDC) is pleased to announce Round 3 of its grant-funding opportunities, designed to support a wide range of initiatives addressing the opioid crisis in Delaware. This round includes three distinct grant types to ensure funding is accessible to organizations of varying sizes and capacities:
General Grants: The primary funding opportunity, providing grants of $30,000 or more to well-established organizations with proven expertise in this field, supporting impactful, evidence-based programs for up to two years.
Mini-Grants: Offering flexible funding from $10,000 to $30,000 for small-scale, structured projects, enabling organizations to respond effectively to specific goals and create measurable community impact.
Micro-Grants: Providing funding up to $10,000 to empower organizations, particularly those with limited resources, to rapidly address urgent community needs through smaller-scale, innovative, localized solutions.
POSDC is committed to equity and aims to support organizations serving underrepresented and marginalized communities, fostering innovative solutions and sustainable change across Delaware. All grants require alignment with the approved uses detailed in Exhibit E of the Final Distributor Settlement Agreement as well as adherence to specific eligibility criteria, with a focus on responsible resource allocation and community-focused solutions.
We encourage eligible organizations to explore these funding opportunities and apply to support critical efforts in combating the opioid crisis and improving the health and well-being of Delaware communities.

Opioid funds may not be used to supplant existing state or local government funding or used in a manner inconsistent with the terms of the settlement, judgment, a confirmation order, or another governing document.
